Anti-counterfeit labels that check themselves
Most security labels ask the buyer to judge them by eye. A TruePack Scan label is checked by our server on every scan, and it tells you where your products are being scanned.
How a secure QR label is different from a normal QR label
A normal QR code on packaging points every box to the same web page, so a copier can print it too. A secure QR label carries a different code on every unit. Each code is an encrypted token issued for your batch, and the scan result depends on that exact code: genuine, genuine but scanned many times, or not one of yours.
What the buyer sees
- Genuine: your brand, the product details and the serial number, confirmed as one of your codes
- Times scanned: how often this exact code has been checked, and whether its warranty or coupon was already used, so a buyer can question a reused or copied sticker
- Not recognised: a counterfeit alert with a button to report the product
What you see
Every scan is logged with time, city and device. The dashboard lists your most-scanned codes first, maps scans by city and state, and lets you search the scan log by serial. If a code turns up in a market you don't supply, you'll see it.
More than a label, if you want it
The same label can activate a product warranty or pay the buyer a small cashback coupon. Both are optional and set per batch. See warranty registration and scan-and-earn coupons.
Common questions
What is an anti-counterfeit label?
It is a label that helps a buyer tell a genuine product from a fake. A secure QR anti-counterfeit label does this with a unique code per unit that is checked online when scanned, instead of relying on the buyer to judge a hologram or print by eye.
Are the codes random or sequential?
The serial number printed for your reference can be sequential, but the QR itself carries an encrypted token, so nobody can work out a valid code from a serial number.
Can I use tamper-evident label stock?
Yes. The sticker design is just artwork, so your printer can run it on void or tamper-evident stock if you want both protections.
